Academic Internships

Fall/Spring Internships

“To nourish and inspire” remains Purdue Dining & Culinary’s mission not only while serving our campus community but as an academic partner in every pursuit. PD&C continues its lifelong commitment to develop our students as employees, leaders and professionals.

Purdue Dining and Culinary offers semester long, comprehensive internship opportunities for a variety of academic disciplines. Our mission is to provide an internship that combines practical work experience with targeted benchmarks throughout the semester, allowing our students to leave with skills they will carry with them well past graduation.

Partnering with multiple colleges across campus allows students the opportunity to meet internship requirements for their program of study while still completing required classwork. PD&C has worked with students in the following classes; Nutrition 350, Food & Nutrition in Business 375, Food Science 491, Psychology 492, Retail Management 300, HTM 202 and 302. PD&C has the ability to work with any student on cultivating an internship experience to fit their needs.
