21 Track + 500 Plan

21-Track + 500 Plan

This plan lets you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. As a result, the 21-Track + 500 Plan affords students the most value, as it has the lowest cost per meal.

The 21-Track + 500 Plan includes 21 meals per week and $250 Dining Dollars for the semester to spend at Purdue Food Co. locations across campus. You can also use Dining Dollars to bring guests to the dining court.

The 21-Track + 250 includes 21 meals per week and $125 Dining Dollars for the semester to spend at Purdue Food Co. locations across campus. You can also use Dining Dollars to bring guests to the dining court.

13 Track Plan

13-Track + 450 Plan

The 13-Track + 450 Plan includes 13 meals per week and $225 Dining Dollars for the semester to spend at Purdue Food Co. locations across campus. You can also use Dining Dollars to bring guests to the dining court.

8 Track Plan

8-Track + 100 Plan

The 8-Track + 100 includes 8 meals per week and $50 Dining Dollars for the semester to spend at Purdue Food Co. locations across campus. You can also use Dining Dollars to bring guests to the dining court.

5 Track Plan

5-Track URBA Meal Plan

The 5-Track Plan includes 5 swipes per week in the dining courts. This plan is designed for the student on a budget who chooses not to eat as many meals each week.  This plan does not offer any Dining Dollars.

The 5-Track URBA Meal Plan is ONLY AVAILABLE TO URBA RESIDENTS AND EXCLUDES HILLTOP AND HAWKINS. URBA residents who select the 5-Track Meal Plan may only use this plan in the 5 dining court locations.

Purdue Dining & Culinary (PD&C) offers a variety of meal plans to fit each student's unique schedule and budget. All of these plans come with meals and/or Dining Dollars loaded directly to a student's Purdue ID card, convenience and flexibility that can't be beat. NEW Commuter Meal Plan

The 20-Meal Block Plan is available to commuter (off-campus) students who have previously lived in University Residences. The 20-Meal Block Plan offers new dining options and flexibility to many students who are not eligible for a Residential Meal Plan. 

This new meal plan is being offered as a solution for commuter students who need affordable and convenient on-campus dining options. Qualifying students will have the ability to purchase the 20-Meal Block Plan for $240. Eligible students can use the 20 meals at any point during the semester and purchase the 20-Meal Block Plans multiple times throughout the academic year.  The last day to purchase Commuter Meal Plans for Spring 2024 is April 15, 2024.

Plan Details 

The 20-Meal Block Plan contains 20 meal swipes that can be used at various dining locations on campus at any point during the semester. The meal swipes may be used in any of the residential dining locations, which include five dining courts, four On-the-GO! locations and four Quick Bite locations. Students may also use up to eight of the 20 meal swipes at participating retail locations across campus. The daily limit is five meal swipes (meals) per day.  

These meal plans can be purchased any time during the academic semester. Swipes expire at the end of the semester. Meal plans will be loaded onto PUIDs within two business days of purchasing the plan.  Billing for the commuter meal plans is through the Bursar at a later date.  If you are interested in purchasing the 20-Meal Block Plan for the spring, you may do so starting January 3rd, 2024 by visiting: https://housing.purdue.edu/portal and selecting Meal Plan.   

Commuter meal plan purchases are nonrefundable.

How do I purchase a 20-Meal Block Plan?

You can purchase a 20-Meal Block Plan by visiting https://housing.purdue.edu/portal and selecting Meal Plan.  Meal plans may take up to 2 business days to be added to your account.  If you do not see your meal plan added to your account, please contact ID Card Operations and Support for assistance.  Commuter meal plan purchases are nonrefundable.  The last day to purchase Commuter Meal Plans is April 15, 2024.

Can I purchase multiple 20-Meal Block Plans per semester?

Yes, you can purchase the 20-Meal Block Plan multiple times during the semester/academic year. Please note that the plan does expire at the end of the semester the 20-Meal Block Plan was purchased. The last day to purchase Commuter meal plans for the Spring 2024 Semester is April 15, 2024.  Commuter meal plan purchases are nonrefundable.

When can I use my meal swipes?

Meal swipes may be used at any point during the semester. Once your 20 meals have been used, you may purchase an additional 20-Meal Block Plan for $240.  Questions regarding meal swipe usage can be sent to mealplans@purdue.edu. Swipes expire at the end of the semester.

How do I know I am eligible for the 20-Meal Block Plan?

Eligible students must have previously lived in University Residences and must not be current residents of University Residences. We will monitor usage in order to continue to provide the best customer service for our residential and commuter meal plan holders. If you have further questions, please email mealplans@purdue.edu.

The Fine Print for Spring Semester 2024

You can increase your meal plan at any time during the semester, but you cannot drop the meal plan while you are living in University Residences. Changes can be made to Spring 2024 meal plans from January 2, 2024 at 9:00 am to January 7, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST by logging into the housing portal. Residents of Hawkins Hall and Hilltop Apartments may eat at any residence dining services location by purchasing a meal plan here . Students assigned to these residences who wish to change to a room-only option must do so prior to the start of the Fall contract. Current residents of non-apartment halls who transfer to Hilltop Apartments and Hawkins Hall can select a room-only option when they are initially assigned. Residents of Hawkins Hall and Hilltop Apartments may eat at any residential dining services location by purchasing a meal plan here .
